American Energy & Manufacturing Competitiveness Summit

The Council on Competitiveness (Council) and the Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) invite you to attend the inaugural "American Energy & Manufacturing Competitiveness Summit" on December 12, 2013 at the Ronald Reagan International Trade Center in Washington, D.C. The Summit will be a first-of-its-kind, annual gathering of preeminent leaders from industry, government (including a keynote from Secretary of Energy Ernest J. Moniz), academia, labor, the national laboratories, and media to:

  • Discuss the most critical energy and manufacturing challenges and opportunities facing U.S. prosperity, sustainability, and security;
  • Accelerate a movement to increase U.S. competitiveness in the production of clean energy products, and increase U.S. manufacturing competitiveness across the board through greater energy productivity; and,
  • Commit to concrete actions to spark continued innovation and industrial transformation needed for economic growth and job creation.
