The NASEO Transmission Working Group, State Energy-Based Economic Development Working Group, and Energy Financing Committee will host a Roundtable on Public Financing Options for Electric Infrastructure on Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 1:00 – 2:00 PM ET. This session will provide an opportunity for an open dialogue about different public financing models, including how they are being established, structured, and implemented. The meeting will begin with a brief overview of resources conducted by the Clean Air Task Force (CATF) that highlight the potential consumer savings that could come from public-private financing. Following CATF, the roundtable will feature state perspectives on emerging financing models from the Maine Department of Energy Resources, Washington's Electric Transmission Authority, and Wyoming's Energy Dominance Fund. Please register here or reach out to Camille Norton (cnorton@naseo.org) or Grace Lowe (glowe@naseo.org) with any questions.
