NASEO is hosting a series of virtual regional roundtables for State and Territory Energy Offices to discuss the current state of energy storage deployment and identify key barriers and opportunities across different electricity market structures. This first roundtable will focus on markets with vertically integrated utilities within an RTO/ISO and will include insights from subject matter experts, followed by discussion and peer exchange focused on actions states can take to accelerate deployment. These discussions will help surface shared challenges, highlight lessons from other regions and market structures, and inform potential areas for regional collaboration.
