On Monday, October 21, 2024, from 3:00p.m. - 5:00 p.m. ET, the NASEO Energy Security Committee will host its annual Winter Energy Outlook Webinar. The webinar will feature presentations from industry representatives and energy experts on factors that will affect energy markets and energy security this winter in the United States and globally. This year’s webinar will feature overviews of the US Energy Information Administration’s (EIA) Winter Fuels Outlook, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) seasonal weather and hazard forecast, the North American Electric Reliability Corporation’s (NERC) most recent reliability assessment, and the US Department of Energy’s Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response (US DOE CESER) federal preparedness posture.
