Virtual Power Plants (VPPs) can be an essential resource to help manage load growth, ensure grid reliability, and keep rates affordable. Uplight is one of the leading providers of technology to manage and support VPPs. This session will discuss a variety of VPP case studies, from simple single-asset aggregations to more sophisticated multi-DER aggregations, and describe the challenges and benefits of each. Additionally, Speakers from Uplight will answer questions from State and Territory Energy Office Directors and Staff interested in exploring whether VPPs are a good fit in their jurisdiction.
