NASEO, as part of the National Energy Codes Collaborative (NECC), will convene the second meeting of the State Implementation Technical Advisory Group on August 21, 2024. The Technical Advisory Group will engage with State Energy Offices and other state and local agencies to support outcomes related to code adoption and implementation through capacity building, identification of sustainable funding, stakeholder engagement, compliance, and workforce availability. The state group will support advisory activities in response to state-identified topics and provide updates on the activities of the other NECC Technical Advisory Groups. State and local agencies are encouraged to join, though all interested stakeholders are welcome. The State Building Energy Code Implementation Technical Advisory Group will meet every other month.
