State Energy Offices across the country are exploring opportunities for direct air capture (DAC) in their states and regions to accelerate reduction of legacy emissions and advance economic development. Particularly, State Energy Offices play an important role in facilitating supportive policies and programs to move the market for direct air capture forward. There has also been a recent surge of federal investment in DAC and projects are under development in multiple states. This webinar will feature expert speakers on the U.S. Department of Energy carbon dioxide removal initiatives, industry needs and priorities, and key considerations around commercialization, financing, siting, and community engagement.
