Please join the NASEO Clean Hydrogen State Working Group for a discussion with the Hydrogen Demand Initiative (H2DI) consortium. In January 2024, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) selected the H2DI consortium to help accelerate commercial liftoff of the hydrogen economy. H2DI is working with DOE and the H2Hubs to design robust demand-side support measures that will facilitate purchases of clean hydrogen produced by H2Hub-affiliated projects to decrease emissions, create good-paying jobs, and advance U.S. competitiveness in various end-use sectors, including energy-intensive industry and heavy-duty transportation. This meeting will introduce H2DI to State Energy Officials and help the consortium gain a better understanding of state perspectives on the clean hydrogen landscape and current and future state policies and initiatives that support clean hydrogen and its diverse end-use sectors. To join the Working Group, please contact Kelsey Jones (kjones@naseo.org) or Grace Lowe (glowe@naseo.org).
