The NASEO Energy Data Working Group brings together State and Territory Energy Office staff, relevant other state agencies, and affiliate members to discuss energy data needs and gaps on the state and federal level. As states aim to electrify the transportation and buildings sectors to meet their overall decarbonization goals, they will require additional and more granular data that spans multiple sectors to allow states to track emissions and further the integration of clean energy resources. This working group will discuss available data, data needs, and develop guidelines for data sharing and data integrity standards for potential adoption by states. This working group convenes on virtual calls quarterly. Please register for the call here and reach out to Kirsten Verclas (kverclas@naseo.org) to learn more.
