DESCRIPTION: This is Part I of the Multifamily Webinar- Part II will be scheduled soon.

The recent adoption of the new Specialized Opt-In Energy Code in Massachusetts will result in a significant increase in the number of Multifamily projects required to meet the Phius Certification standard. Since almost 40 municipalities adopted this Code, Phius Verifiers will be in demand for review of a growing number of projects. In Massachusetts, as many as 80 multifamily projects are planned within municipalities with the new Opt-in code.

This webinar is the third in a series focusing on Phius Raters and Verifiers responsibilities during construction. The first two webinars covered single family homes using the Performance and Prescriptive Paths. This will be the first of two webinars for MF projects. Topics will include requirements for multifamily projects, prerequisites for being Certified by Phius as a MF Verifier and tips for completing the Phius Multi Family workbook
