Through quarterly virtual convenings, State and Territory Energy Offices with statewide benchmarking ordinances and building performance standards are invited to share best practices, challenges, and priorities in implementing these policies. This kick-off event will begin as a facilitated round table discussion, welcoming state and territory input on priority discussion topics and technical assistance needs. The second half of this event will narrow in on the first step of enforcing a benchmarking ordinance or building performance: identifying and engaging properties that must comply under these policies through a covered properties list, as well as approaches and tools that streamline this process. Representatives from all State and Territory Energy Offices that are interested in joining this recurring cohort can reach out to Jasmine Xie (jxie@naseo.org) for a registration link to this kick-off meeting and more information.
