The NASEO Direct Air Carbon Capture and Storage workshop and educational tour, with support from the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management, will provide State Energy Offices with information about the technologies, policies, cost considerations, stakeholder engagement strategies, and financing mechanisms for direct air carbon capture and storage and geothermal energy. Workshop participants will visit the Orca and Mammoth direct air capture plants, Carbfix’s carbon dioxide storage facilities, operating geothermal power plants, and more.
