In May 2023, major automakers announced that future electric vehicle (EV) models starting in 2025 would incorporate Tesla's charge port, the North American Charging Standard (NACS), which is currently being standardized as J3400. As a result, the J3400 connector is undergoing an extensive standardization and testing process to ensure the connector is widely available for automakers and EV charging providers. This webinar will feature updates from the U.S. Joint Office of Energy and Transportation's Senior Advisor for Standards and Reliability as well as from leading experts from the Society of Automobile Engineers (SAE) on the standardization, development, and implementation of the J3400 connector.
