The monthly NASEO Energy Security Committee Meetings are hosted on the second Tuesday of each month from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. ET. For the December NASEO Energy Security Committee Meeting we will be joined by a representative from the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) to discuss revisions to the emergency exemption rules that go into effect December 12, 2023. Other speakers include representatives from the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), who will present on the ongoing Cybersecurity Baselines for Electric Distribution Utilities and DER activity and how State Energy Offices can contribute.
