Historic funding opportunities through the Infrastructure Investments and Jobs Act and the Inflation Reduction Act have accelerated the transition to an electrified transportation sector, subsequently, increasing demand for electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment that meets the federal minimum standards and domestic manufacturing requirements. State Energy Offices and State Departments of Transportation that are overseeing federally funded EV charging programs, particularly the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Program, must ensure that all EV charging equipment is compliant with CFR Title 23 and Buy America requirements. Leading experts on EPRI’s EVs2Scale 2030 Initiative have created a “Vetted Product List” of EV charging station equipment and products that meet certain criteria and standards to assist State agencies, NEVI recipients, and other interested parties with verifying compliance of EV charging equipment and products. NASEO and AASHTO are partnering with EPRI to showcase the Vetted Product List tool to State Energy Office and State Department of Transportation officials. The demonstration will be conducted by EPRI experts John Halliwell and Allan Zhao. To register for the webinar, click here.
