Please join us to hear from RMI about the State Energy Policy Simulator (EPS) and its potential use for Climate Pollution Reduction Grant (CPRG) planning. The EPS is a free-to-use, publicly available, open-source model for estimating the environmental, economic, and human health impacts of climate and energy policies. The EPS allows the user to control a large variety of policies that affect energy use and emissions in every major sector of the economy including transportation, electricity, buildings, industry, agriculture, and land use. It has been used by state governments and NGOs for state climate action planning. The webinar will include the basics of how the EPS works, demonstrations of how to set policies and build scenarios, an interactive activity, and time for questions and answers with EPS experts.
