Industrial energy efficiency can make manufacturers more competitive, enhance electric reliability, and reduce emissions. EPA has signaled that states can look to industrial efficiency as one way to meet their emission targets under the proposed Clean Power Plan. To do so, however, states will have to think “outside the box” and develop compliance plans that take advantage of this opportunity. This webinar will profile a number of tools that can guide states in this process, including:
-
NACAA’s Menu of Options for Implementing the Clean Power Plan (with several chapters relating to industrial efficiency)
-
ACEEE’s State and Utility Pollution Reduction (SUPR) Calculator, compliance templates, and NASEO-ACEEE State 111 (d) Resource Hub
-
A CHP Pathway report produced for the American Gas Association, American Chemistry Council, and American Forest & Paper Association
