Bios:
Josh Ruedin joined Phius in 2021 as the Professional Training and Education Programs Manager. He oversees live and on-demand training offerings and works closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure that Phius’ certification trainings and continuing education offerings provide quality learning opportunities. He has worked as a high school English teacher, managed continuing education programs for radiologists, and directed online safety and health trainings for frontline construction and industry workers. Josh holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
Tony Lisanti has a Master’s of Science in Organizational Leadership from Mercy College, a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and an Associate’s Degree from S.U.N.Y. in Internal Combustion Engine Engineering Technology. His 36+ years of experience includes mechanical, electrical and plumbing design with an engineering firm, Con Edison of New York, Robison Energy and currently serving as Managing Director at Integral Building & Design, Inc. in Nyack, New York. He is a Certified Energy Manager, Phius Certified Rater, Verifier and Phius Certified Consultant (CPHC®), D.O.E. Zero Energy Ready Home Verifier, RESNET Quality Assurance Designee, RESNET Rater Trainer, Certified Green Professional by NAHB, and IECC/HERS Compliance Specialist and has numerous certifications from the Building Performance Institute. He previously served on the Board of Directors of the BPCA/NYS, Phius Alliance - Hudson Valley Chapter, several RESNET working groups, is Co-Chair of the Rockland Business Association Green Council, and past Vice-President of the NEHERS. Since 2018, he has been QA/QC Manager for Phius.
Tom Chase, CPHC, LEED AP, is a Senior Program Manager at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC). At MassCEC, Tom develops and manages commercial, industrial, and large residential building decarbonization programs, including supporting outreach and coordination of passive house expansion efforts. Prior to joining MassCEC in 2022, he managed a team of project managers, engineers, raters, and verifiers at New Ecology, Inc. as Director of Green Building Services, supporting the design, construction, and operations of hundreds of building projects. Tom’s background is in ecology, architecture, and urban and industrial environmental management, and he holds BA and MA degrees from Wesleyan University and an MEM from the Yale School of the Environment.
Allison Zuchman is the Education Director at Built Environment Plus (BE+). In this role, Allison provides educational opportunities that support the BE+ mission to drive the sustainability of the built environment. Allison plans and manages trainings and strategic educational events, curates a comprehensive training catalog, works with instructors and education partners, and assists clients in pursuing funding opportunities for trainings through the MA Workforce Training Fund (WFTF) General and Express Programs. Prior to joining BE+, Allison’s experience includes 17 years as a sustainability consultant, and before that as a designer and architect.
