NASEO, the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), and the Joint Office of Energy and Transportation have launched an initiative to advance transportation electrification deployment planning and implementation at the state and local level to ensure that EV charging station infrastructure investments are made in a strategic, coordinated, efficient, and equitable manner with public and private sector partners. Through this initiative, NASEO, AASHTO, and the Joint Office will provide direct support for state agencies as they build-out EV infrastructure through the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Program and other federal programs by: providing opportunities for regional coordination and collaboration on EV infrastructure investment; engaging with utilities and private-sector partners to identify challenges and opportunities; and developing tools and resources for states to assist them with EV policy and program rollout.

This kickoff webinar will review key objectives and next steps with the initiative, and will invite feedback from states on what opportunities, tools, and resources are most needed as they implement their NEVI and other EV infrastructure plans.
