NASEO, with the assistance of an equity advisor and the NASEO Energy Security and Equity Committees, is developing a program to educate State Energy Offices on how best to engage with and ensure that the needs of underrepresented, disadvantaged, and underserved communities are meaningfully considered and addressed in State Energy Office planning and activities. The program will explore several different pathways including, but not limited to, technical assistance and guidance for State Energy Security Plans. The goal of this activity is to identify the unique considerations and the most effective strategies to advance energy security in these communities including through stakeholder engagement, communication, and resource development and deployment. This webinar will be an opportunity for State Energy Offices to better understand the project and to share feedback on their own needs and work in this space. This webinar will be highly interactive and will be an opportunity for states to provide input on the topic areas and tools that would be helpful in approaching this important program. Please register for the webinar here and email Kelsey Jones (kjones@naseo.org) with any questions. The webinar will be limited to NASEO state and territory member attendees only.
