The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is inviting State Energy Offices to a webinar on the recently released Notice of Intent (NOI) for the implementation of IIJA Section 40101(d) – Formula Grants to States and Indian Tribes for Preventing Outages and Enhancing the Resilience of the Electric Grid. The purpose of the webinar is to 1) summarize key elements of the provision, 2) obtain feedback from stakeholders and 3) identify actions that can be taken in preparation for the release of the announcement.

DOE seeks input from all States, U.S. Territories, the District of Columbia, and Indian Tribes, on the Department’s Section 40101(d) implementation plan, including the application and award requirements, the award formula allocation, and the technical assistance approach as detailed within the NOI and supporting documents.
