NASEO-NARUC GEB Working Group Webinar: Portland General Electric Smart Grid Test Bed

The Portland General Electric Smart Grid Test Bed (SGTB) Program is a multi-year effort to expand customer acceptance and adoption of demand response and load management technologies.  The Program’s activities, focused within three substations, are helping to inform program design and assess the technical potential of load management in the PGE service territory.  This presentation will cover year one activities, including customer engagement campaigns and DR program enhancement work; technology demonstration projects and DERMS pilots that are planned for the remainder of the Program; as well as ongoing Phase II planning activities.
