On February 19, 2015, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) will host the first of a series of technical conferences to discuss implications of compliance approaches to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Clean Power Plan proposed rule. Key topics of discussion will include: an overview of the clean power plan; electric reliability considerations; identifying and addressing infrastructure needs; and potential implications for commission-jurisdictional markets.
This conference, being held in Washington, DC, is free of charge and open to the public. Further details may be found in FERC’s supplemental notice and agenda. Registration is now open, closing on February 5, 2015. In addition to this, a free live webcast will be made available.
