SEP Market Titles Project Webinar: Overview and Proposed Revisions

September 13, 2019, 2:00 - 3:00 PM ET

A webinar to review proposed changes to the State Energy Program (SEP) Market Titles and reporting process will be held on Friday, September 13 at 2pm eastern time. For more information on this webinar, please contact Cassie Powers, NASEO’s Managing Director of Programs, at cpowers@naseo.org.

Background
The SEP Market Titles Project was launched with the goal of achieving greater consistency in the use of Market Titles or Activities so that State Energy Offices and the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Weatherization and Intergovernmental Programs Office are better positioned to share the impacts of SEP with state legislators and governors, U.S. DOE leadership, other federal agencies, the U.S. Congress, and others. Over the last six months, a team of twelve State Energy Offices, in partnership with the U.S. DOE and NASEO, have met bi-weekly to analyze, collapse and combine Market Titles and work with the PAGE team to explore options for building these changes into the existing PAGE system. During this webinar, Amy Royden-Bloom, U.S. Department of Energy’s State Energy Program Manager, will frame the purpose, need, and benefit of this state-led project. Molly Cripps, Assistant Commissioner at the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation’s Office of Energy Programs, will brief State Energy Offices on the status of the Market Titles project and next steps. The webinar will provide a summary of the process the SEP Market Titles Project Team went through to revise the Market Titles; highlight proposed changes to Market Titles, as well as changes to the PAGE reporting structure; and discuss next steps for developing guidance that State Energy Offices will be able to reference once the new Market Titles and reporting process is implemented. Tennessee, NASEO, and U.S. DOE will answer any questions or concerns during the call and follow up individually if necessary.
