NASEO and Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) will host a webinar, “Assistance for States in Leveraging National Clean Energy Week,” on Wednesday, July 31 from 3:00p.m. – 4:00p.m. ET. National Clean Energy Week was launched in 2017 with the goal of advancing support of our nation’s energy sector through new methods of market development, policy change, and technological innovation. This year, states, communities, and private sector partners will host events across the country during the last week of September to show support of solutions that address the nation’s economic and energy needs. On the webinar, David Terry, NASEO Executive Director, will provide opening remarks; Charles Hernick, Director of Policy and Advocacy for CRES, will provide an overview of National Clean Energy Week and opportunities for states to engage; and Dr. Laura Nelson, Executive Director of the Utah Governor’s Office of Energy Development, will share highlights from Utah’s experience with National Clean Energy Week.
