Join RMAEE for Lunch and a Tour of Colorado’s first battery storage microgrid.
Through a unique public/private partnership, Xcel Energy, Panasonic and Denver International Airport (DEN) developed and built the Panasonic Battery Demonstration Project. The unique battery storage system aims to facilitate the integration of renewable energy, enhance reliability of the distribution system, assist in providing voltage management and act to reduce peak demand. There will also be an opportunity to see Panasonic’s CityNow smart city Showcase.

Participation is limited to the first 50 people who register. Sorry we cannot accept walk-ins on this tour.
Parking: Available directly across the street from Panasonic at the DIA parking lot. cost $2.00 per car
