A new tool from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) called EVI-Pro Lite is helping communities across the country evaluate existing electric vehicle charging infrastructure and determine future infrastructure needs to support increased regional adoption of EVs. Using data from personal vehicle travel patterns, electric vehicle attributes, and charging station characteristics, the tool projects demand for charging infrastructure by state or city/urban area.To see a demonstration of the tool and its many uses, please attend an upcoming webinar scheduled for Monday, May 21 at 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time. In the meantime, you can visit the EVI-Pro Lite page to begin planning for your city or state’s electric vehicle charging needs.
