On-Bill Repayment (OBR) and On-Bill Financing (OBF) are newer methods of financing clean energy through surcharges on utility bills, and have shown a lot of promise for unlocking clean energy deployment in the residential and commercial sectors. However, the design of those programs can greatly impact the scope and reach of those programs in engaging with ratepayers. Speakers on this call will provide an overview of On-Bill programs as well as best practices gleaned from existing active programs.
