This IDEA conference, "Clean Energy for Campus and Community," will feature discussions on how campus energy systems provide highly efficient, sustainable and reliable energy services supporting mission critical operations on college, university and healthcare campuses and military bases while also strengthening the local economy by reducing strain on the regional power grid. The NC Solar Center's Clean Power & Industrial Efficiency team, as part of its work with the US DOE Southeast Clean Energy Application Center (now the CHP TAPs), will participate on a panel on military microgrid applications and combined heat & power systems.
