The Ohio Center for Industrial Energy Efficiency (OCIEE) is conducting a training session for Certified Practitioner in Energy Management Systems for the State Energy Office on November 26th through 30th and have a some additional spaces that can be filled. This training is focused on training technical folks that can help companies but will also assist manufacturers in understanding what is necessary to achieve certification to ISO 50001, the new Energy Management Systems standard, and DOE's Superior Energy Performance program. This understanding is particularly appropriate for manufacturers doing business internationally since 50001 adoption is emphasized in European markets already.
