The National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO) has scheduled its online training course, “The Fundamentals of Energy Assurance”, and registration is now open.. This course provides for a foundational understanding of planning for and responding to energy supply disruptions and emergencies and address how states can enhance the security and resiliency of its energy infrastructure and address the threats to our cyber-security It is designed for those new to energy assurance and provides an introduction to the range of issues plans and responses developed as part of states’ energy assurance plans. State, local, and private sector energy professionals can benefit from a greater understanding of energy assurance and how this can contribute to a robust, secure, and reliable energy infrastructure and the capacity to restore energy services rapidly following a disruption due to any and all hazards.
