We haven’t heard much about Solar Hot Water lately, however, it remains the best way to provide domestic hot water, even when compared to PV paired with a heat pump hot water heater. Solar hot water remains the most energy efficient way to heat water and incentives reduce the cost down to two to three thousand dollars. Furthermore, it is an easy way to boost the HERS rating of a home. In addition to discussing these topics, Spartan Giordano will fill us in on design and installation lessons learned over the past decades in the solar hot water industry.
