Building on the NASEO Webinar, Primer on Transmission Cost Allocation, this interactive exercise, scheduled for Monday, December 7, 2026, from 12:00 - 2:00 PM ET, gives State and Territory Energy Offices hands-on experience advocating for their state’s interests. Led by experts from Grid Strategies, participants will be divided into fictional states within a fictional transmission planning organization. Each state will receive its own set of objectives for a multi-billion-dollar regional transmission portfolio, and participants will negotiate to reach agreement on a cost allocation method by the end of the session.
