NASEO Energy Infrastructure Risk Analysis and Decision Support for States Kick-Off Webinar

November 6, 2014, 3:00 - 4:00 PM ET

NASEO, through funding from the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability, recently launched a project to support states’ energy infrastructure analysis and decision making capabilities when responding to energy disruptions. The project goal is to improve the states’ ability to quantify risks, consequences, and vulnerabilities through the use of tools and methods which, when analyzed, can be used in the decision making process to ensure a more effective response and recovery to energy disruptions. The project will also support states’ long-term efforts to reduce risks and build more resilient energy infrastructures.

NASEO will coordinate technical assistance efforts with the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners, National Governors Association, and National Conference of State Legislatures to share best practices and approaches as well as to exchange ideas across states and regions. Speakers from NASEO and DOE will present information on the project and answer questions.
