NASEO Fuels and Grid Integration Committee Call - State Energy Officials and Consumer Advocates Shared Policy Concerns and Actions

The NASEO Fuels and Grid Integration Committee, in the continuing series of events on State Energy Office participation in Public Utility Commission proceedings, will host a conference call between State Energy Officials and State Utility Consumer Advocates to discuss concerns on energy policy and possible areas for cooperative actions before Public Utility Commissions. The call will be held on Monday, May 7 from 3:00 - 4:00 pm ET.  

The call will feature presentations by:

  • Kristy Manning, Director, Division of Energy, Missouri Department of Economic Development and Hampton Williams, Public Counsel, Missouri Office of the Public Counsel, who will discuss recent grid modernization proceedings in Missouri.
  • Lauren Savidge, Director of the Office of Energy Supply, Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection and Elin Katz, Consumer Counsel, Connecticut Office of Consumer Counsel, who will discuss Connecticut’s unique energy procurement process. 
  • Dave Springe, Executive Director, National Association of State Utility Consumer Advocates, who will discuss NASUCA’s views on grid modernization, electric vehicles and distributed energy.
