Sandra Vanderstoep, The Alliance Center DC-microgrid Project Director, will share insights on what they have learned and where they are going with their implementation of a DC-microgrid at their historic building in LoDo. The Alliance Center is serving “…as the site for proof of concept and a field laboratory for the use of a direct current microgrid in an existing commercial building. This pilot project is designed to measure and verify energy efficiency gains through the local on-site generation, storage and distribution of Low Voltage Direct Current.” [USGBC].
